Blog: the metropolitan jolt

This past Saturday, thousands of concertgoers descended upon the Los Angeles State Historic Park for the eighth year of Fuck Yeah Fest. Situated in downtown L.A. just outside of Chinatown, the festival grounds had all the makings of a good day fest, complete with trees for ample shade, woodchips to limit the dust, a nice view of the nearby skyscrapers and over 35 bands on four Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle-themed stages.
