Mikkel Hess of Hess Is More seems to have a nice sense of humor when producing his music. I first heard his track "Creation Keeps The Devil Away" and was instantly intrigued by the self-described "disco folk pop" stylings and quirky lyrics. Originally from Denmark Hess moved to New York a few years ago to pursue his music career within the American entertainment market. I'm really digging his cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Only Living Boy In New York".... seems pretty appropriate. According to his soundcloud page we can expect a full length sometime this fall.
