Youth Lagoon is the bedroom project of former college student Trevor Powers. After blowing up the blog-world and receiving endless praise from listeners and critics alike, Powers has decided to drop out and tour behind his debut "The Year of Hibernation." The album is full of dreamy, honest, and understated pop that really strikes a chord. Many of the songs start have almost an M83 -type feel to them...starting slow and building into a whirl of reverb-heavy vocals and electronic beats.
