Soul and R&B icon Betty Wright has just announced that she will release Betty Wright: The Movie —her first solo album since 20012s Fit For A King —on November 15th. The album features Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson of The Roots as a co-producer; Lil Wayne, Snoop Dogg, and Joss Stone also make guest appearances. The album will be co-released via Wright's own Ms. B label (which she has run for 25 years) and S-Curve Records.
