
The death grunts and hellish cries of metal are indeed far cries from despondent daydream electronica, although that's the tune to which Oslo's Torgny K. Amdam (or simply Torgny for artistic purposes) now sings having previously fronted Amulet. Incidentally it's fellow Norwegian Maria Due that provides vocals on the eerie Dying Hipster, a track that sucks the listener ears-first down a dimly lit rabbit hole lined with pristine glacial synths and bass frequencies set to undulate menacingly, if somewhat playfully.
