Piney - Gironimo! Here at SoundsXP we’ve long celebrated Piney Gir’s general wonderfulness and we’re not about to stop now that she’s released Geronimo. The album starts off in pop-Piney mode. Jaunty rhythms, sleigh bells, Blondie riffs, handclaps, la la las, a lightest dash of arse-shaking bluesiness and plenty of bittersweet punch to the lyrics. Lovely.
