I'm a genuine, no-frills-about-it nerd. I favor PC games over console and I'd take a bitchslap from Cthulu if it meant the world would get to see one more season of Battlestar Galactica. So, as a genre, chiptune could easily be the soundtrack to my life (I lived for those Anamanaguchi singles last year). George & Jonathan's 2010 debut The Best Music captured the SNES/math rock fusion that lands them somewhere between the epic score of Metroid 3 and Dookie era Green Day. [...]
