When we interviewed Melee back in October , he talked about some of his upcoming remixes, but for some reason I never expected to see a Melee + Yelle combination (or as I like to call it, Melle). Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised, and as it turns out, Melee's dark and heavy sound is the perfect compliment to Yelle's unrelenting vocals. A punching bassline paired with claps drenched in reverb create a moody vibe which is only amplified by the vocal compressions on Yelle's contrasting peppy sound. Melee really did an amazing [...]
