Shins outcasts Marty Crandall and Neal Langford have teamed up to form Sad Baby Wolf. The band (also made up from Maury Crandall, Jason Ward and Sean McCullough) have got an album due out in 2012, but before that they’re releasing two singles – 8th Level (which sounds like a cross between The Shins and early Sugar) and Survival Guide (which sounds like The Shins gone droney).
