The names of the nominees for the 84th annual Academy Awards , hosted by Billy Crystal, were announced on Tuesday morning. Martin Scorsese’s “Hugo” leads the pack with eleven nominations, but it was an especially pleasant morning for Woody Allen : “Midnight in Paris” received nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay.
