From a person who absolutely loved Animal Collective's Merriweather Post Pavilion , the arrival of Brothertiger 's Golden Years  has an eerily similar texture.  The project of Ohio-native John Jagos hasn't proven to be as off the wall as the oddly-named foursome of Animal Collective, but the outward reaching, spacey moments capture a bit of the zaniness that's so damn contagious. In anticipation of the March 27 release of Golden Years from Mush Records , Brothertiger used the talents of with Kiki Allgeier and David Ambrose to produce a spandex-friendly video for "Lovers."
