The Kent musical bug strikes again. Island Cassettes are a new trio who make South African Soukas inspired music.  Their track “Dodo” helps explain their band name perfectly “Island” has to refer to their breezy and gorgeous guitar riffs that will brisk you on to your closet lounge chair and make you forget about the world. “Cassettes” must refer to the lo-fi recording of everything, give an element of  keeping everything really close and intimate and making it a fun affair for the people who are immediately around you.  Very lovely stuff, indeed.
