Two duos we've been really high on here at Stereogum are fluttery Swedish haze-pop producers Korallreven and Minneapolis cut-and-paste noise-pop manipulators Elite Gymnastics. And on a new track, the two come together. In their remix of Korallreven's glimmering Julianna Barwick collab " Sa Sa Samoa ," Elite Gymnastics throw in a chipmunk-soul sample of Whitney Houston's "I Wanna Dance With Somebody," a rattling all-out breakbeat, and a ton of squealing siren-synths, none of which manage to annihilate the original track's beauty.
