Blog: Stereogum

This was a great, great week for music videos. And for some reason, a pattern emerged. To some extent, every one of the videos below is a sumptuous, richly produced vision of things that don't make any sense at all. For the most part, these videos adapt ideas about narrative, but they don't make their narratives transparent enough that we can actually follow along with them to any appreciable extent.
