For the entirety of his career on BBC Radio 1, John Peel was the authority on musical taste. With the drop of a needle and a keen wit, he tirelessly championed new and established artists. His penchant for a wide and expansive music taste that ranged from punk rock to acid house, made his personal record collection a thing of legends.
