There’s nothing quite like traveling from New York to Austin only to discover a band from your own backyard. Aunt Martha ’s folky blend of rock was inescapable on Friday afternoon upstairs at Maggie Mae’s . Streaming sunlight mixed with guitar and squeezebox, as frontman Tim Noyes seemingly familiar vocals told stories to the gathered crowd. Taco in one hand, camera in the other; this is the life.
