Watch: Indie Darlings Feist and M. Ward Play Jesus and Mary Chain Cover
At a recent show in London’s Royal Albert Hall, Feist, and her current tour mate M. Ward, took the stage together to cover the Jesus and Mary Chain’s “Sometimes Always.” The song was the first single from the JAMC’s fifth album Stoned and Dethroned. Originally a duet between Jim Reid and Mazzy Star’s Hope Sandoval, the single had an alt-rock acoustic sound, which was newer territory for the brothers, but concurrent with the overall direction of Stoned and Dethroned.
