Rian Johnson hasn't let me down so far and Looper looks like it should be another great flick. Johnson's debut film was Brick , which if you haven't had a chance to watch, get on it. His writing and originality blew me away. His follow-up, The Brothers Bloom , was slept on as well by many, but something tells me Looper won't be.
