Boy/girl duo Curxes began as a bedroom project in Brighton, UK as a project band but are now emerging from the dark to take over the mortal world. Their sound mixes playful kitchen-sink beats with synths reminiscent of the early 80’s. Recorded back in December, at the Curxes HQ… a tiny concrete box in deepest Sussex, Haunted Gold is a noisy affair, decorated with distorted 'Breathy Chiffer' from the much loved Roland D-50.
