Feminist collective Permanent Wave has released a tribute album to groundbreaking UK punk act X-Ray Spex . The 13-song album features artists such as Titus Andronicus , Franz Nicolay , and more. In honor of late X-Ray Spex frontwoman Poly Styrene, who passed away last year to breast cancer, proceeds from the album's sales will go to the Sweet Relief Musicians Fund , which provides assistance to musicians facing illness or disability.
