Got this mail by Queens, New York's Deep Ellum Records a few days ago, and though admittedly I had never heard of the "home of all things Lo Fidelity Allstars, Lord Warddd, Lord & Master and other shite", damn this is highly addicted stuff here. Both "Dem Bones" and "Done Shit", the first two tracks by BLKKATHY , which apparently is the solo project of some Brooklyn resident named Kate Faust, are utterly intriguing, in particular the latter with its impelling house beat and that totally dope vocal line.
