Singing/song-writing cult hero Daniel Johnston is back with his first studio album in three years, and the 18th one of his career. The  Space Ducks: Soundtrack is envisioned as a musical companion to Johnston's own comic book, Space Ducks: An Infinite Comic Book of Musical Greatness,  which he revealed at this year's SXSW . The 12-track LP features seven original compositions by Johnston, plus songs from Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Deer Tick, Eleanor Friedberger, Fruit Bats, and Lavender Diamond.
