A few years back (March 2010) Animal Collective and visual artist Danny Perez put on a multimedia installation called Transverse Temporal Gyrus at the Guggenheim Museum in New York City. The group's exclusive 123 (which was released on Record Store Day 2012) featured audio from the installation, it was kind of an extension to the show.
