Chris Martin of Coldplay The music world lost a hip hop pioneer yesterday (May 4). Adam Yauch , known by the moniker MCA and as one of the founding members of the legendary hip hop trio the Beastie Boys , died at the age of 47. He had been battling cancer since 2009. Like many music fans, Coldplay are also in mourning.
