Peking Duk have applied their electro savvy to the uplifting newbie by hook-meisters Passion Pit. "Take A Walk" now glares bright like the searing flame of a jet engine. That glorious synth lead is left intact, until the drop where it has been recreated to up the shred factor. The general structure of the vocal verses is followed closely, and considering the Duk's usual bomb tempo, this one is at a bit more of a stoner headbanger pace which is a cool change up. Also peep their sensational remix of Dem Slackers "Schlingel" - seriously an end-of-the-Earth tune. [...]
