Following the release of production duo Soulsavers’ 2009 album Broken , the pair (Rich Machin and Ian Glover) joined Depeche Mode on tour in Europe, sowing the seeds for this full length collaboration with Mode frontman Dave Gahan. However close Gahan and Soulsavers became on that tour, however enjoyable their creative partnership was, little of that warmth has carried across to The Light the Dead See .
