Maybe more than any other festival going right now, Soundset feels communal. Reasons for this aren’t hard to figure. Curated by indie rap label Rhymesayers Entertainment, the Shakopee, MN, event features many of the imprint’s own (Atmosphere, Grieves and Budo, Evidence, P.O.S., I Self Divine, and more) while many of the other artists (Aesop Rock, Macklemore, Prof) at the fest have worked with Rhymesayers’ crew.
