What a journey it's been for this Vancouver duo. Having decided they weren't going to make it, in 2009, Japandroids released the eight-song album  Post-Nothing  as their swan song, with an expectation that the most they'd get out of it was a great experience between friends before moving on to other projects. The album ended up overflowing with personality. It was an obviously carefree, honest effort by a couple of guys way too into post-hardcore guitars and noisy drums to possibly take themselves too seriously.
