Five years ago, Wisconsin folk outfit DeYarmond Edison disbanded, with most of its members going on to find success as Bon Iver and Megafaun. Most, that is, save for one Chris Porterfield. Now, under the handle Field Report , Porterfield has finally readied his self-titled debut for a September 11th release through Partisan Records. After carefully crafting his own songs over those five years, Field Report decided to enter the studio in the fall of 2011 when his old bandmate Justin Vernon came through Milwaukee with Bon Iver.
