When I found out that Glen Hansard was going to play at Housing Works , I was thrilled. Besides being a wonderful bookstore, it is also a charitable organization whose mission is “to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS.” There is just something special about that space, and it is a nice change to take music out of the bar and into a bookstore.
