Cookie Duster: "When Flying Is Easy" (album review) The one bright side to the demise of Broken Social Scene is that the members now have more time to concentrate on their other projects.  For Brendan Canning it comes in the form of his longstanding Cookie Duster group, who released their new album When Flying Was Easy  earlier this week. The record kicks off with the spacey, melodic "Cut Me, Focus".  There's more than a little affinity for the trippy, as Cookie Duster revisits the atmosphere often, as on "No Solo (With Bass Gtr)".
