Blog: disco naivete

Cat Power recorded a new album and cut her hair short. The latter is of no (real) importance, but the former definitely is. It's titled Sun and is out on September 3 via Matador. The record was mixed by Philippe Zdar, something you will definitely hear in this new song Ruin - it's got a bit of an up-beat semi-disco vibe, which could also be because she recorded it in Malibu.
