Fiona Apple's streak of awesome cover songs continued tonight, as she celebrated Paul McCartney's 70th birthday today by joining the Roots to honor the Beatle with an inspired take of  Band on the Run closer "Let Me Roll It". Their rendition (video above) would make for a memorable television promo for this week's  The Idler Wheel...   release alone ,  but that was a mere web-exclusive.
