After the disappointment of “Henrietta”, I was a bit down about the upcoming Yeasayer record, Fragrant World . I needed to hear something quickly to change my mind, and luckily a new track entitled, “Longevity”, appeared. This harkens back to their Odd Blood today, with their bouncy pysch-soul, that is just so post-modern cool. Even though their native New York, just got awarded the highest life expectancy in the U.S, the band still rather not take their chances and try to live for everything in the moment.
