It's Saturday, the day of the week we reserve for posting mixes made for us. This week though is a little different. This week we have the first side from one of Beppe Loda's seminal Elettronica Meccanica tapes. Which comes from a few years before the blog got started (1986). This mix is from a series of tapes recorded live at the Typhoon club in Gambara, Italy. Loda had a residency at Typhoon for most of its life, crafting a bespoke environment (from PA to lighting to DJ booth height) and the sort of relationship with the crowd [...]
