Rolling Stone has gone further into proving its masculine rock-loving stereotype of a rag while compiling the greatest albums by female artists. The chart has notched up only 50 of the "greatest albums," probably because they couldn't come up with 100.  They have compiled the ordinary chart toppers like the legendary Joni Mitchell's Blue and the newly-reigning  21 by Adele. But, get this: Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, Chaka Khan, Toni Braxton, Amy Winehouse, Sade, Erykah Badu, Natalie Merchant, Jill Scott, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, Rihanna, and more didn't make the cut.
