I'm completely enamored with Animal Kingdom . Their new album, The Looking Away , gets my vote for one of the best albums of the year. Had I discovered it before I published SoundDessert's 25 Best Albums of 2012 (So Far) , it would be on that list. No matter, it will certainly be on my end of year list. The atmospheric melodies, Richard Sauberlich's hypnotic vocals and their sophisticated songwriting make The Looking Away an enchanting recording.
