Blog: Music Under Fire

Well, I don't really know what to make of this video.  I'm stymied.  I watched this 4 times and still can't figure out what is happening in this house.  But what I took from it is this:  Santigold 's "The Keepers" is catchy, tremendously catchy.  It almost reminds me of an unreleased song from The Bangles . The video itself is dark, and features some sort of social critique of the characters in blond wigs.  Santigold cheerily dances around a darkly lit house, guns are fired and more dancing ensues.  I'm sure there's an exlanation for [...]
