It's been three year's since Dirty Projectors ' critically acclaimed breakout album  Bitte Orca,  but as soon as we got to hear " Gun Has No Trigger ," the first single from Swing Lo Magellan, we knew the wait had been worth it. On first listen, this is the band's most accessible album to date, with bright, sometimes poppy melodies complementing some of David Longstreth's more esoteric tendencies.
