SHD 3000 is/was an alias of Shinichi Osawa. The track " Discotique Murphy's Theme " appears on the Sakura Hills Disco 3000 compilation , it is quite a hard compilation to find outside of Japan ( or in a digital quality that is any good ). The track is a good example of what to expect from the compilation though, it's very fun and unpretentious dance music which mixes pop, garage and disco together in a very nice way. The little piano bit towards the end of " Discotique Murphy's Theme " is something the current 'Nu-Disco' producers should take note [...]
