In a recent interview SGP admitted that at one point he developed and addiction to the purple drink as well as the purple smoke. He didn't care about his body or what he had done to it. In fact he didn't care about too much of anything until he found GOD. He claims that he found god in himself, he now prays to himself and claims to be completely drug free.
