I always wonder what it is that makes some bands 'stick' in my collection and other, equally good in many cases, bands fall by the wayside after a couple of listens. Whatever it is The Bronze Medal have it with crates to spare. One song and I was a goner; a whole EP is a total treat. It's hard to categorise a band who struggle to even categorise themselves, but the Bronze Medal are a delicious mix of, in my lowly opinion, the best genres of music – folk, alternative rock, postrock.
