Folk/electronic act Northern Youth has just put out an excellent double single, “Los Angeles/”Islands”. “Los Angeles” is equally grandiose sing-along , and intimate enough that you could whisper it in the ear of your closest friend. As a lot of artists might knock LA, it’s so refreshing to hear Luke Messimer exclaim in full confidence, “Los Angeles, you’re alright in my mind”.
