This week, NPR’s First Listen series is streaming new albums from a pair of electro-pop outfits, Passion Pit and Purity Ring . - Passion Pit will release their sophomore LP, Gossamer , on July 24th via Columbia Records. The 12-track was produced by Chris Zane (who also helmed Manners ) and features contributions from composer Nico Muhly and a Swedish a cappella trio.
