indie shuffleBack in 2006, Scrubs continued to make its run on NBC with its fifth season. The show garnered more of a mainstream following, as Zach Braff's popularity grew (following some successful movie roles). Despite the more mainstream audience, the show continued on with its own brand of humor, including J.D.'s daydream sequences, random musical interludes, and all-around goofy comedy writing.
