'Elephant' is the first official single from Tame Impala's second album titled Lonerism . The album, due out in October, once again was written and recorded mostly by frontman Kevin Parker at his home in Perth, Western Australia. 'Elepahnt' has a real Beatles feel about it, but in an interview with Mess+Noise, Parker noted that Rundgren’s 1973 opus A Wizard, a True Star was a big influence on the crafting of the new record.
