Halifax/Montreal-based duo Purity Ring  (though originally from Edmonton Alberta) consists of members Corin Roddick and Megan James. The electro-pop duo have released their debut album, titled Shrines,on July 24,2012 with Last Gang Records / 4AD . The album contains the internationally renowned tra ck  Ungirthed  which the band self released last year. When I first listened to the band last summer, the thing that really stood out was the dreamy ethereal vocals of Megan James.
