I'm not hugely fond of the phrase "electronic dance music," although yeah, it seems it has been accepted by now. Just see no need to clarify that the dance music is electronic really. But wait... are there other kinds of dance music out there? Oh... yeah. I guess there are. How can the feeling best be described? Ever heard someone say "electronic video games?" We have.
