Mobtown ShankThis is an image I found in a Baltimore city school textbook (written by students) from 1953 called Baltimore: City of Promise . (I was surprised to find that the city, at one time, published its own textbooks to teach children local history. I'll be posting more images from the book in the upcoming weeks.) This image shows occupation breakdowns of Baltimore City residents in 1950.
