
The recent proliferation of Hindi rock in the Indian rock soundscape has been propounded by bands that have either nailed a crossover sound (often described as "folk rock") or acts on whom the language weighs down heavy as they attempt to manipulate a more orthodox rock 'n roll pastiche. The latter usually disappoint because of a faux-intensity that's channeled through an unsure vocalist.
